More about homeless services.

Facilities

Open Market Apartments

Housing units in EHAP are open market apartments in the general community, providing families with comfortable, dignified living spaces while they work toward permanent housing solutions.

Services

Comprehensive support services to help families achieve stability and independence

Case Management

Housing Counselors provide case management, advocacy and direct assistance services. They assess housing needs, financial resources, financial management skills, health care needs, academic and vocational needs, hygiene and housekeeping skills.

Independent Living Plans

Personalized Independent Living Plans (ILP) are built around comprehensive assessments. Families are connected to community services, trainings, and employment opportunities to help them achieve their life goals.

Community Services

Families are connected to essential community resources including job training programs, educational services, healthcare, childcare, and other vital support systems that promote long-term stability.

Direct Housing Support

Counselors provide direct support to families to find permanent housing including sharing housing opportunities, assisting with housing applications, interviews, and inspections, and advocating with landlords, lease signing, and the actual move into new housing.

"Our goal is to provide families with the tools, resources, and support they need to transition successfully from temporary housing to permanent, stable homes where they can thrive independently."
